Master Warrant Officer Daniel Addo was born on 12 September, 1972, in the town of Kade, the capitol of the Kwaebibirem District, in the Eastern Region of South Ghana. On 5 January, 1996 Master Warrant Officer Addo Daniel joined the Ghana Army as an infantryman.
Master Warrant Officer Daniel Addo was appointed the Sergeant Major of the Ghana Army on15 March, 2016 and continues to serve in the position with distinction.
Master Warrant Officer Daniel Addo’s deployments, decorations and awards include but are not limited to; The West African Peacekeeping Economic Community Monitoring Group (ECOMOG) for peacekeeping missions in Sierra Leone, United Nations Interim Force Lebanon (UNIFIL), United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL), United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL), The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) and the Ghana Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.
Master Warrant Officer Daniel Addo is a graduate of the basic and advanced Machinegun Courses, Basic and Advanced Infantry Platoon Weapons Course, the Unit Fire NCO Course, The Army Drill and Duties Course and the Advanced NCO Tactical Course.
Master Warrant Officer Addo has served with distinction as a Machine Gun Wing Warrant Officer at the Army Combat Training School, Accra, Ghana. The Regimental Sergeant Major for MONUSCO’s 12th Ghana Battalion and the Command Sergeant Major, Central Command, Kumasi
Master Warrant Officer Addo holds a Baccalaureate Degree in Accounting from the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) Accra, Ghana.
Master Warrant Officer Addo is married to the former Ms. Joyce Acheampong and blessed with three daughters, Gifty, Grace and Gloria. Master Warrant Officer Addo’s hobbies include fitness training and Gospel Music.
Master Warrant Officer Daniel Addo is a graduate of class 68 of the United States Army NCO Leadership Center of Excellence, Sergeants Major Course.
