Note to Windows 10 users
The U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy uses PDF files that have attachments (Word, Excel and PowerPoint files) associated with the file. Those who are using Windows 10 will find that it sets Microsoft Edge as the default browser. Edge does not support ActiveX plugins, therefore the Acrobat Reader plug-in won’t work. The same is true with Chrome. You have to download the PDF file to your desktop in order to see the attachments. However Windows 10 comes with another browser, Internet Explorer 11, which will allow you to see the attachments without downloading the PDF. The attached HOW TO File will show you how to make Internet Explorer 11 your default browser.
